Bible learning & Spiritual growing
What is Tabernacle Kids Club?
Tabernacle Kids Club, or TKC, is our youth ministry that strives to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to the youth. Our club meetings are design to disciple our youth - to not only share the Gospel but to show them the wonderful life that is gained after salvation. Our motto is “Bible learning & Spiritual growing.” Sounds simple, right? But the truth is there is ALWAYS untapped truths found in the Word of God. It is our hearts’ desire to not just see our youth come to know Christ as their personal Savior but to continue to learn and grow in their spiritual journey. And for that reason, our club’s verse is Philippians 3:14-
“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
All About Our Club Meetings
Club meetings are every Sunday at 10:00 AM.
Children ages 5 to 18 are welcome.
Christian, Anna, Clara, and Riley completed the Bronze Level in TKC. (2024)
During our meetings, we spend time digging deep into God’s Word. The youth work on meeting goals, such as Bible verse memorization and Christian services. Once all goals are met, the student can level up.

We are not just learning…we are serving!!
When you come to visit us at Buffalo Baptist Tabernacle, you will find our youth serving right alongside the adults. Our church members are very much invested in our youth just like our teachers. Some ways our youth serve at our church is by…
helping the ushers with the offering
helping decorate the church
singing in the choir
Meet Cassandra Moseley
“The Lord called me to serve in the youth ministry as a teenager. I have always had a love and passion for children. During my younger adult years, I served as a Children’s Church teacher and VBS teacher at Buffalo Baptist Tabernacle and VBS director, Children’s Church teacher, and Toddlers’ director at New Sandy Creek Baptist Church (during my time living in NC). I have been truly blessed and humbled serving in youth ministry.
When I move back home to Buffalo Junction, I was still learning to live life as an arm amputee. You see, in 2018, I was in a very tragic and fatal car accident and suffered an arm amputation during the accident. This accident also claimed the life of my sweet mother-in-law. I went to a very dark place in my life. I knew God was working and all of this was going to be okay, but I felt so useless. I became so dependent on others. Things I once enjoyed before, I could no longer do without help. Outwardly, I was living life strong and focused, but I was in a very dark place inwardly. Upon moving back home, I took up teaching Children’s Church at Buffalo Baptist Tabernacle because I had a small child, and I saw this as a way to provide church for her and a few of her cousins.
Then came 2023…a year I will never forget. I was going through the motions of teaching Children’ Church every Sunday…telling that Bible story, singing that song, doing a coloring sheet. But the Lord got a hold of that Children’s Church. Between the years of 2022 and 2023, FIVE of those kids GOT SAVED (one being my own daughter) along with THREE of my nieces!!!! And this was when the Lord got a hold of me. You see, I grew up in a family where my parents served in the youth ministry. One of the last conversations I had with Daddy before his passing in 2017 was to make sure I saw his grandbabies learn the gospel of Jesus Christ. But what got a hold of me in 2023 was this - Daddy told me to never forget to disciple the kids. Teach them about the Christian life. Help them grow in their spiritual journey. At that time in 2017, I knew what he meant, but it wasn’t until 2023 that I fully understood in my heart the words that Daddy said.
So, after much prayer and surrendering my “going with the motion” Christian life, I presented a new approach to Children’s Church - one that instead of the Bible stories, we teach why we believe in the Bible?; who is the Holy Spirit?, what are those really big words the preacher uses like redemption, justification, and righteousness?, what is communion?, what is baptism?, how do I find things in my Bible?, and so on. And this was when Tabernacle Kids Club was born. 2023 changed that dark place I was in. Now, I love discipling our youth! I am eternally blessed, humbled, and thankful to be here showing our youth the love of Christ, the life of a Christian, and the joys of fellowship.”

“66 Books…One Story”
Our current series we are studying in our club meetings is “66 Books…One Story.” In this series, we are diving deep into the Bible and studying what makes up each book…its author inspired by the Holy Spirit, the stories that took place during its time, and the applications that can be drawn by the words penned in the book. The ultimate goal is to see how Jesus Christ is portrayed in each book leading up to having an understanding of how each book tells a part of the redemptive story of Jesus Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection and God’s love and gift to all of humanity.
Do you know all 66 books of the Bible in order from memory?!
If not, TKC challenges YOU to join in and memorize all 66 books of the Bible!!
